Centre to sell 76% stake in Air India
New Delhi, Mar 28 (IBNS): The Centre on Wednesday announced its plan to sell up to 76 per cent stake in Air India.
In June, the Union Cabinet had given in-principle approval for national-carrier Air India's stake disinvestment.
The process is being monitored by Air India-Specific Alternative Mechanism headed by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley.
On Tuesday, the Civil Aviation Ministry came out with a detailed preliminary information memorandum on the stake sale, said reports.
