New Delhi, Aug 1 (IBNS) Amid reports of a possible terror attack by Islamic State the Centre on Saturday convened a high level meeting.

Called by Home Secretary LC Goyal, the meeting is being attended by DGPs and Home Secretaries of 12 states, reports said.

The meeting comes in the wake of reports that terror group IS is on a recruitment drive in preparation for an attack  in India.

The officials would reportedly  discuss ways to prevent  youngsters from joining the group.

Efforts would also be made to involve community elders to demotivate young people from getting involved in IS activities which may hold an illusion for them.
