Bengaluru, May 2 (IBNS): A 22-year-old woman has been kidnapped in Bengaluru by a man just outside her home.

The incident was caught on camera.

The victim has filed an FIR after a week. According to reports, the incident allegedly took place around 10 pm on Apr 23.

In the video footage, the woman, who is believed to be from Manipur, is seen talking on the phone on the street outside her paying guest accommodation in south Bengaluru when she is suddenly grabbed by the man.

The man then took her to a construction site, where he tried to rape her, reports said.

In her complaint, she has alleged that she had bit the man and he also panicked and ran away after her screaming raised an alarm.

Instead of registering a police omplaint, the girl described the incident to a local TV channel.

Police, however, said that action will be taken based on the CCTV footage.
