Calcutta HC Chief Justice Manjula Chellur shifted to Bombay HC
Kolkata, Aug 11 (IBNS): The Chief Justice of Calcutta High Court, Manjula Chellur, has been transferred to the Bombay High Court on Thursday, reports said.
Replacing Bombay High Court's former Chief Justice Dhirendra Hiralal Waghela, who retired on Wednesday, Chellur will assume the charge by Aug 24.
Justice Girish Chandra Gupta will be appointed as the interim Chief Justice of Calcutta High Court.
Manjula Chellur, who will retire in 2017, joined the Calcutta High Court as its Chief Justice in 2014.
