New Delhi, Jan 31 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi said he hopes all members of the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha actively participate in the debates and discussions during the budget session of the parliament beginning on Thursday.

Interacting with media before entering the parliament, Modi said: "Now every citizen keeps an eye on the proceedings in the parliament. Hope all members actively participate in the debates and discussion."

"Hope we can make the most of the session," the Prime Minister said.

He also pitched in the ruling BJP's "Sabka saath sabka vikas (development for all)" slogan before the commencement of the budget session. "We are committed for sabka saath sabka vikas inside the parliament."

"Hope each member contribute in his own way to make a new India," added the Prime Minister.

President Ram Nath Kovind will address a joint session of the parliament at 11 am on Thursday.

The interim budget will be presented on Friday.
