Amritsar, Jun 12 (IBNS): Two Pakistani smugglers were killed and another was injured during a firefight with the Border Security Force (BSF) on Sunday along the Indo-Pak border in Punjab's Fazilka district.
The BSF apprehended the Pakistanis while they were  attempting to smuggle drugs.

They were accompanied by two Indians who were also caught with 15 kg of suspected heroin besides arms and ammunition.

According to media reports, the BSF personnel detected some “suspicious movement” along the International Border around 2 am. Following this, the security force challenged the intruders.

The arrested smuggler was admitted to the Fazilka civil hospital, and later referred to Guru Gobind Singh Medical College and Hospital at Faridkot.

BSF seized 15 packets of narcotics, suspected to be heroin, along with some arms and ammunition from the arrested smuggler.
