BSF jawan's wife demands CBI inquiry into husband's complaint about bad food

New Delhi, Jan 14 (IBNS) : A day after the Home Ministry submitted a report to the Prime Minister's Office stating that Border Security Force (BSF) constable Tej Bahadur Yadav's complaint about poor quality food was unsubstantiated, his wife aired herself, demanding CBI probe into the matter, media reports said.

Sharmila Bahadur, who posted a video on social media complaining about the quality of food the soldiers were being served, has termed the ongoing probe into the incident as farce.

She said the family did not want an internal inquiry as the  truth would come out only through a CBI probe.

"We don't want an internal inquiry, CBI must inquire.Truth will be out only then," said Sharmila.

Tej Bahadur made headlines after he posted several videos of bad food being served to the jawans in Jammu and Kashmir.

Days after the video went viral, Sharmila shared an audio clip of Tej Bahadur where he alleged that there was a lack of amenities and  that he is being forced to tender an apology.

He told that senior officials are involved in malpractice and that they were threatening and forcing him to apologise.
