New Delhi, Feb 9 (IBNS): The wife of a BSF soldier, who had triggered a row by complaining about bad food, has moved court saying that her husband has gone missing, media reports said.

She filed a habeas corpus plea in the Delhi High Court on Thursday.

In her petition, soldier Tej Bahadur Yadav’s wife Sharmila said she has not been able to contact him for the past three days.

She has pleaded that her husband be produced before the court.

Earlier, wearing his uniform and carrying a rifle, Border Security Force constable  Tej Bahadur Yadav had posted few videos on social media alleging that inadequate and tasteless foods are served to the troops.

In the video, the jawan had alleged: "We only get a 'parantha' and tea during breakfast. The food is served without any pickle or vegetables."

"For lunch, we only get pulses which only has turmeric and salt and roti," he had said.

Yadav had alleged that jawans sometimes go to bed on an empty stomach.

The videos have went viral on social media triggering several reactions.
