BS Yeddyurappa seeks reports from MLAs on drought condition in Karnataka

| @indiablooms | May 08, 2019, at 05:43 pm

Bengaluru, May 8 (UNI) BJP Karnataka President B S Yeddyurappa has sought report from all party legislators in the State to submit reports about drought conditions in their segments within two days and it will be discussed during the meeting of Parliament and Legislature members to be held in the city on May 20.

Speaking to reporters here on Wednesday, he alleged that the JD(S)-Congress Coalition government had totally failed to handle the serious drought conditions that had left the people in distress.

Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy had not bothered to call an all party meeting involving the Legislators to discuss the issue.

This was because he was disinterested in the well being of the people and this was reason meager funds had been released for drought relief work by the government so far this year.
