Srinagar, Oct 2 (IBNS): Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti has said that her government is trying its best to find the truth behind braid chopping cases in the state.

“Me and my government servants including police are trying best to crack the case,” said Mufti while talking to reporters on the sidelines of a function at Dal lake in Srinagar.

In Kashmir, dozens of incidents have been reported from various parts of the Valley, spooking the people, especially women.

She said a team of doctors is meeting the victims to help in the investigation.

Authorities have so far been clueless, even as the government has announced a reward of Rs 6 lakhs for information which will lead to arrest of braid choppers.
