Ranchi, Aug 23 (IBNS): A section of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) activists on Saturday showed black flags to Union minister Narendra Singh Tomar at the Ranchi airport when he arrived for an inauguration function here, reports said.

Earlier, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren was booed by a group of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers at an event on Thursday in presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Soren was there at the function where Modi had unveiled a slew of developmental projects at Prabhat Tara ground at Dhurwa area.

The Jharkhand CM had termed the incident as a “rape of the democratic system” demanding a public apology from the PM. JMM had also threatened saying they would stage protest against any Central minister coming to the state.

Earlier, Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and his Maharashtra counterpart Prithviraj Chavan were also hooted by sections of BJP activists in the presence of Modi recently in two separate events.
