Bomb blasts in Manipur, no injury reported

Imphal/UNI: A powerful bomb exploded at the residence of N Jitendra of Tentha Khongbal, Wangjing Tentha constituency, Thoubal district in Manipur on Thursday.

No one was injured.

A portion of the house and goods in the courtyard of the house were badly damaged.

A team of Thoubal police rushed in and it was suspected that the bomb could be related to the Manipur poll as the constituency will go to poll on Mar 5.

According to reports, BJP workers attacked INC supporters in Kakching on Wednesday night.

Glass panes, doors of some houses were also damaged in the attack.
