Bollywood filmmaker arrested after surrendering to police in Hyderabad
Morani surrendered to the police on Friday night as the Supreme Court upheld the Hyderabad High Court's decision to cancel the anticipatory bail granted to him.
Early in September, the Hyderabad High Court held as valid a lower court order to cancel Morani's anticipatory bail on grounds that he had concealed he had been facing criminal trial in the 2G scam case and was in jail for several months, according to media reports.
