Bollywood celebrities cast their vote in Mumbai in 4th phase of LS polls, urge people to make their vote count

Mumbai, Apr 29 (UNI) Bollywood celebrities, from Urmila Matondkar, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan to Prasoon Joshi and Anupam Kher on Monday voted in the fourth phase of the Lok Sabha elections in Mumbai and urged others to step out and make their vote count.

Actor Kareena Kapoor with son Taimur cast her vote at Durello Convent High School in Bandra, while BJP sitting MP Paresh Rawal and his wife Swaroop Sampat cast their vote at polling booth number 250-256 at Jamna Bai School in Vile Parle.

BJP's Lok Sabha candidate from Mathura, Hema Malini, and her daughters, Esha Deol and Ahana Deol, cast their vote in Vile Parle.

Actor Kangana Ranaut cast her vote at a polling booth in Khar while veteran actor Rekha cast her vote at polling booth number 283 in Bandra.

Urmila Matondkar the Congress MP candidate from Mumbai North seat, voted in polling booth number 190 in Bandra.

Speaking to reporters, Aamir Khan said: "It is an extremely important day for all of us."

Bollywood's megastar Amitabh Bachchan and his wife Jaya voted at a polling booth in Juhu and they were accompanied by their son Abhishek and daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai  Bachchan.

Several parts of the country are voting in the fourth phase of the polling in the Lok Sabah polls on Monday.

This time India is voting in seven phases.

The last phase of polling will take place on May 19.

Counting of votes will take place on May 23.
