BJP tried to trade Satyendar Jain's release with AAP's exit from Gujarat polls: Kejriwal

| @indiablooms | Nov 06, 2022, at 02:52 am

In a stunning allegation, Aam Admi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal Saturday said that the BJP had offered to release jailed Delhi minister Satyendar Jain if his party quit the Gujarat polls, media reports said.

Kejriwal told India Today that the BJP approached him with "the deal" and reiterated that a similar attempt was made to set Manish Sisodia against AAP.

Sisodia had claimed in a press conference and said that the BJP had offered to revoke all cases against him if he ditched the AAP.

The Delhi Deputy CM has been interrogated by the central probe agencies in liquor scam.

The AAP supremo's allegations come days after the Election Commission of India announced Gujarat assembly poll dates.

Kejriwal made the claims while asserting that AAP would win the upcoming polls in the state.

He said Gujarat need a change and that change was Kejriwal.
