BJP MLA caught watching Priyanka Gandhi's photo in Karnataka Assembly

| | Dec 14, 2014, at 02:58 am
Bengaluru, Dec 11 (IBNS): In an embarrassing move, a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Prabhu Chavan was caught on camera watching a zoomed in photograph of Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi on his mobile phone in the Karnataka Assembly, reports said.

Reacting to it, the Congress party has slammed the MLA and also barged to the well of the House in protest.

The Speaker has asked Chavan to apologise.

Chavan, however, claimed that he didn't zoom into the picture but was reading the text written below it.

He reportedly apologised for using his mobile phone inside the Assembly during the session.

Meanwhile, another MLA UB Banakar was seen playing video games during proceedings of the Legislative Assembly, said reports.
