BJP leader Giriraj Singh compares Mamata Banerjee to North Korean leader Kim Jong Un

New Delhi, June 8 (IBNS): Union Minister and BJP leader Giriraj Singh has attacked West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee by comparing her with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

Singh alleged that those raising voices against her in West Bengal are getting killed.

"She plays the role of Kim Jong Un," Giriraj Singh was quoted as saying by media.

"Those who will raise voices against her will be killed," he said.

He mentioned that even 'Vijay Yatra' (victory parade) is not allowed to be taken out in her state.

"It seems that she does not believe on constitution. She does not considers the PM as a PM and does not want to follow system,: he said.

Singh said people of West Bengal have decided that her countdown has begun.

The Bharatiya Janata Party registered its strongest result in the Lok Sabha polls this time.

It grabbed 18 seats.

The Trinamool Congress managed to keep 22 seats with it.

It is 12 seats down from the 2014 seat tally of 34 seats.

After losing a large chunk of Lok Sabha seats to the saffron party in the recent general elections and amid a face-off over the chanting of Jai Shree Ram in West Bengal, state Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday launched a veiled attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and said those who will clash with her will be destroyed.

"Those who will clash with us will be destroyed," Mamata Banerjee said as she participated in an Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations at Red Road in the heart of the city.

The BJP and the TMC are engaged in a bitter war-of-words for last few months.
