BJP even not protecting Hindus: Arvind Kejriwal

| @indiablooms | Sep 30, 2018, at 06:58 pm

New Delhi, Sept 30 (IBNS): Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday criticised the Bharatiya Janata Party over the death of an Apple executive in Uttar Pradesh in a firing incident by a policeman and said the ruling party even did not save the interest of the Hindus.

In a Hindi tweet, Kejriwal said, "Why did they kill Vivek Tiwari, a Hindu? BJP leaders are freely raping women and getting away with it. Open your eyes to the fact that the BJP is not a well-wisher of Hindus even. They are not going to think twice before murdering all Hindus to get to power."

Kejriwal also tweeted and said he had a telephonic conversation with Tiwari's wife.

An executive of a multinational company was shot dead by a policeman early on Saturday when he allegedly tried to drive away near a checking-point in Lucknow's upscale Gomtinagar, media reports said.

Thirty-eight-year-old Vivek Tiwari, an employee of Apple, died of his injury at a hospital. The constable and his colleague have been arrested.

BJP reacts strongly against Kejriwal's tweet:

BJP leader Manoj Tiwari said Kejriwal's tweet reflected his 'narrow-mindedness'.

Tiwari said his BJP is with the family of the deceased.

He said action will be taken against those behind the death of the Apple executive.
