BJP alone can face Mamata: Amit Shah

| @indiablooms | Apr 22, 2019, at 04:57 pm

Howrah, Apr 22 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Amit Shah on Monday said CPI(M) and Congress can’t face Mamata Banerjee, only BJP alone can do it.

“If CPI(M) or Congress wins, the power will still remain in the hands of Mamata didi,” he remarked.

Urging the people to ensure that the BJP wins more than 23 out of 42 seats in the state, the BJP president said it would ensure that the syndicate raj would end within 90 days in Bengal.

Shah accused Ms Banerjee of making West Bengal a bankrupt state where only her relatives and TMC ministers have flourished.

The BJP president alleged that Mamata Banerjee led TMC government was running a mafia raj in the state.

'' The state has achieved the distinction of topping the chart in cow smuggling and becoming a safe haven for infiltrators," Shah claimed.

He alleged that Banerjee, who is vehemently opposed to the contentious NRC that is currently restricted to Assam, was misleading people, and vowed to introduce it in every state after winning the polls.

''The refugees who have come from Bangladesh-- be it Hindus, Buddhists, Sikhs, Jains, or Christians, the BJP has clearly signalled in its ‘sankalp patra’ that we will give them citizenship,” said Bharatiya Janata Party president.
Mr Shah said BJP has come forward with clear policies such as the NRC, the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, towards Article 370 and Article 35A and against terrorism.

He said Citizenship Amendment Bill will come first, all refugees will be given citizenship, after that NRC will be made.'' Refugees shouldn't worry, only infiltrators should. First the CAB will come then NRC. NRC will not be for just Bengal but for the whole country.''

Shah alleged that Mamata has banned Durga pooja, Saraswati pooja and Ramnavami procession. She has ruined the culture of Bengal,he observed.
