Bihar youth hurls slipper at CM Nitish Kumar, arrested

Patna, May 2 (IBNS): A youth, who hurled slipper at Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, was on Monday arrested by the police.
According to reports, the youth was ‘angry’ that the Bihar CM had banned ‘havans’ (offerings with fire to gods) between 9 am and 6 pm.
 
The youth is also called Nitish Kumar and hails from Arwal district, 60 kms south-west of Patna.
 
The Bihar government has put a ban on such ceremonies due to which hundreds of fire outbreak in the state as a result of severe heat.
