Bihar: Teacher killed in road mishap, two others injured

Ragjir, May 7 (UNI) A woman teacher was killed and two others were injured in a head-on collision between their auto rickshaw and a pick-up van near Telia Khanda village under Deepnagar police station area in Nalanda district today.

Police said here that the woman teacher of Gongaripar primary school at Manpur Vidya Bharti (38) was killed on the spot and one more teacher Indu Devi and another person injured when their autorickshaw was hit by the van coming from the opposite direction in high speed.

Police said that the deceased teacher was a  resident of Kagzi locality under Biharsharif police station area. Sources said the deceased had been admitted to Biharsharif Sadar Hospital.

The pick-up van driver made good his escape from the spot after the mishap, police added.
