Bihar: Ravi Shankar Prasad says BJP set to win
New Delhi, Nov 8 (IBNS) The counting of votes in the recently concluded Bihar polls have begun on Sunday morning.
Trends have shown a slender lead for the BJP alliance till 10:10 a.m.
With BJP consuming a lead earlier in the morning, Communications and Information Technology Minister of India and senior BJP leader, Ravi Shankar Prasad told media that his party is set for a big win.
Prasad said, "I am not in the race to be the CM."
JDU chief Sharad Yadav expressed his confidence of securing 150 seats.
However, according to the latest trends, Bharatiya Janata Party is currently raling behind JDU-RJD alliance in 101 seats.
The RJD-JD (U)-led alliance is ahead in 127 seats.
Others are leading in eight seats.
Polling in the five-phased Bihar Assembly polls ended on Thursday as voters sealed the fates of 243-member house.
