Bihar: Property worth lakhs of rupees lost in fire in jute godown

Katihar, Apr 9 (UNI) Property worth lakhs of rupees were lost when a jute godown caught fire at Sanauli Bazar under Kadwa police station area in Bihar's Katihar district today.

Police said here that fire engulfed the jute godown of one Vinod Dokania due to short circuit at Sanauli Bazar destroying property worth nearly Rs 30 lakh.

Sources said that fire tenders doused the flames after several hours of struggle.

Nobody was injured in the mishap, police added.
