Bihar: Professor shot dead in Patna
Patna/UNI: Some armed criminals today shot dead professor Shiv Narayan Rai of TPS college near Janata flat under Kankarbagh police station area here.
According to police, the criminals fired at the professor when he was going somewhere.
The professor sustained severe bullet injuries and was rushed to the Patna Medical College Hospital where he succumbed during the treatment.
The reason behind the incident was yet not known. An FIR was lodged at the concerned police station.
The police were investigating the incident.
