Bihar: Polling official killed, four others injured in road mishap

Sasaram, May 17 (UNI) A polling official was killed and four others were injured when their jeep overturned on Dinara-Baranv road near Gopalpur village under Dinara police station area in Rohtas district today.

Police said here that the polling official Rajvansh Singh (45) was killed when he was going from Dehri to Dinara to report for his duty in Buxar parliamentary constituency. Buxar Lok Sabha constituency is going to polls on May 19.

Police said the accident took place when the jeep driver lost control over his vehicle in his attempt to save a motorcyclist.Four people were injured in the mishap. The injured had been admitted to Sasaram Sadar Hospital. The body had been sent for autopsy.
