Bihar: Police officer suspended on charge of dereliction of duty

Muzaffarpur, May 29 (UNI) The officer-in-charge of Sadar police station Navin Kumar was suspended in the district today after he was found guilty of dereliction of duty.

Deputy Inspector General of Police (Tirhut range) Ravindra Kumar suspended the officer-in-charge of Sadar police station Kumar after the former found him guilty of not performing his duty properly leading to rising in the incidents of loot under his jurisdiction.

DIG Kumar had conducted an inquiry against the officer-in-charge on the order of inspector general of police (Muzaffarpur zone) N H Khan.
