Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Wednesday won the floor test to prove the majority of the 'Mahagathbandhan' alliance government in the state Assembly.

In the special session of the Bihar assembly convened for the floor test, 160 members voted in favour of the confidence motion whereas in the following walkout by the opposition no vote could be cast against the motion, reports UNI.

Nitish government is enjoying the support of 164 members including that of JD(U), RJD, Congress, Hindustani Awam Morcha ( HAM), Communist Party of India Marxist Leninist, Communist Party of India (CPI), AIMIM and an independent.

Kumar registered the floor test victory after BJP staged a walkout from the Assembly when the CM was delivering his address.

Meanwhile, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Wednesday conducted raids in four locations linked to three RJD leaders, MLC Sunil Singh, Rajyasabha MP Ashfaq Karim and Fayaz Ahmed.

The raids are being conducted in the matter probably related to the land scam in lieu of providing a job, UNI reported.

Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejaswi Prasad Yadav alleged that BJP has three sons-in-law —ED, CBI and IT.

Tejaswi Yadav said this during the ongoing floor test in the post-lunch sitting of the state assembly to prove the majority of the newly grand alliance government led by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in Bihar.

Participating in the debate on the confidence motion moved during the special session of the state assembly Tejaswi Yadav said that BJP has three sons in law CBI, ED and IT which it uses according to its convenience.

He said those who do not bow down before BJP, launches these agencies against them.

Tejaswi said the newly formed grand alliance government would do wonders and the partnership with Nitish Kumar would last for long innings.
