Bihar: Muslim youth files complaint against father for abetting terrorism

Patna, Sept 6 (The Bihar Post/IBNS): A Muslim youth in Bihar has filed a complaint against his father, charging him exerting pressures to join terrorist groups.

In his complaint petition filed with the police, Mohammad Rajauddin alleged his father had been forcing him to go to Kashmir and join the terrorist group to lead a campaign against India.

He accused his father of torturing him and his family after he refused to follow his advice.

“Become a terrorist. You will go to ‘jannat’ (paradise) and get plenty of money if you become a terrorist and fight for Pakistan,” Rajauddin, who hails from Dakahighat locality under Supaul district, told the police on Tuesday.

“If you follow my advice, you will get so much money that your entire family will lead a happy life,” the complaint further alleged in his petition while accusing his father of being a “greedy man’”.

Police said they are investigating into the matter.

“We are in receipt of the complaint and investigating the matter,” a local police official Ram Iqbal Yadav told the media.
