Bihar Ministry: Nitish Kumar keeps Home portfolio, Tejaswi Deputy CM
Patna Nov 21 (IBNS) : JDU leader Nitish Kumar who was sworn in as Bihar Chief Minister on Friday for a third straight term, kept the home portfolio with him while named Lalu Prasad's younger son Tejaswi Yadav as the Deputy Chief Minister.
Reports said the protfolios the Chief Minister will hold are home, general administration and information and public relations.
Tejwasi Yadav, the 26-year-old Deputy Chief Minister, will be in charge of road construction and building construction departments. His elder brother Tej Pratap Yadav will look after health and environment departments.
Senior RJD leader Abdul Bari Siddiqui has been given the finance portfolio.
JD(U) minister Bijendra Prasad Yadav will look after energy department. He was in charge of the finance portfolio in the outgoing ministry.

State Congress president Ashok Choudhary has been allotted human resources department while his party colleague Madan Mohan Jha has been alloted revenue portfolio.
JD(U)'s Rajiv Ranjan Singh has been given water resources department while his party colleague Jay Kumar Singh will look after the industry department.
JD(U) woman minister Manju Varma has been given charge of social welfare department.

Altogether 28 ministers took oath at a function at Gandhi Maidan on Friday.
