Bihar minister slams Prashant Kishor for preaching Nitish on lockdown sanctity

Patna/UNI: Reacting sharply over a tweet of former Janta Dal (U) National vice-president Prashant Kishor (PK) for preaching Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on lockdown sanctity, state Information and Public Relation Department (IPRD) Minister Neeraj Kumar alleged that PK had no interest in the well being of the people of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh as he maintained mysterious silence when the labourers of Bihar and UP were left in lurch at Anand Vihar during the lockdown.

Mr Kumar told UNI here today that despite being a son of the soil, PK had no attachment with UP and Bihar.

He said that PK, who was an electoral advisor as well as strategist for Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, did not utter even a single word in the interest of the labourers of Bihar and UP when they were dumped at Anand Vihar after some rumour and confusion.

Earlier during the day PK through his Twitter handle made satirical comments against Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for the latter's objection over the the decision of the Uttar Pradesh government for bringing back it's students stuck at Kota of Rajasthan in the lockdown.

PK tweeted that the people of Bihar were stuck all over the country and the Chief Minister of Bihar was preaching about lockdown sanctity.

In his tweet PK said the other state governments were taking some steps but Nitish Kumar has not even talked to the concerned governments of the states in this connection.

Even during video conferencing with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Nitish Kumar did not discuss the issue of bringing back the Bihari labourers stuck outside the state.

It may be recalled that P K was expelled from JD(U) for opposing the decision of the top leadership of the party for supporting the citizenship Amendment Bill in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.
