As soon as the house assembled for the day, the BJP members were on their toes in support of their demands and descended into the well shouting slogans and carrying posters.

The Speaker of the Bihar assembly Awadh Bihari Choudhary requested the members to resume their seats and let the question continue in a peaceful atmosphere.

He also requested the leader of the opposition in the state assembly Vijay Kumar Sinha to bring his members in order.

The speaker also ordered the marshals to take away the posters from the hands of the opposition members who were creating noisy scenes from the well of the house. He also took up the question of our proceedings which continued amid the pandemonium.

The leader of the opposition Vijay Kumar Sinha asked the speaker Awadh Bihari Chaudhari not to tarnish the image of the chair who in turn said that the leader of the opposition was working against the democratic values and asked him to bring his members in order.

He said that the leader of the opposition should not exhibit such conduct and behaviour.

Meanwhile, RJD MLA Bhai Virendra made a direct allegation on BJP saying that BJP leaders were getting liquor supplied in the state which should be thoroughly investigated. The party was conspiring to defame the government, he alleged.

Intervening in the situation the Rural Development Minister and Chief whip of JD(U) Shravan Kumar expressed anguish at the conduct of the leader of opposition alleging that the latter was instigating his members and demanded action against him.

The Speaker also said that the leader of opposition should not let his members create disorder on the floor of the house and maintain that the chair was functioning according to the laid rules and regulations.

He said that the leader of the opposition was acting against the rules and the democratic system.
