Patna, Jan 22 (TheBiharPost/IBNS): A juvenile court in Bihar has asked a minor to teach Dalit friends after he was convicted for getting involved in illegal liquor trade in a state declared as “dry”.

The unusual order was passed by the court in Sheikhpura district, more than 100 km east of Patna on Saturday.

The court of Jigar Shah after taking into consideration both the nature of crime and age of the accused asked the boy to teach Dalit friends at his native Baruna village for first three months and serve patients at the local government hospital for another three months.

The boy was caught running an illegal liquor trade in 2014. During the course of trial, he confessed to his guilt and promised not to repeat his mistake in future.
