Bihar Assembly: Demands for enacting law to protect journalists raised

Patna/UNI: The demands for enacting law to protect journalists across the state was raised in Bihar Assembly on Thursday.

RJD MLA from Suryagarha assembly constituency Prahlad Yadav drew the attention of the house towards the issue during zero Hour.

Through his Zero Hour notice, Prahlad Yadav said that a memorandum demanding framing of a law for protecting journalists had been handed to the chief minister by various journalists associations.

The law has yet not been implemented, he said.

Prahlad Yadav demanded from the government to implement the law for protecting journalists in the state.
