Bihar: After saving her from witch doctor, man rapes girl in Aurangabad

Patna, Oct 5 (The Bihar Post/IBNS): From the frying pan into the fire—This exactly remains the case of a minor girl who narrowly escaped being raped by a witch doctor but the very next moment ended up being sexually assaulted by a man who saved her.

The bizarre incident took place Amjhar Sharif village in southern Bihar’s Aurangabad district on Tuesday night.

As per reports, a family had visited a local fair of exorcists to treat their ailing daughter. The fair is organized every year during Navratri.

Seeing her case, one of the witch doctors advised the girl to consult him after nine on Tuesday night. Soon after she reached there, the said man took the girl to an isolated location in the name of treatment and tried to rape her, reports said.

Right at this time, a local youth came to the girl’s rescue and saved her from being raped. Subsequently, he asked the girl to reach the local police station and register a case against the exorcist.

Believing his words, the girl sat on his bike but instead of taking her to the police station, the accused took her to a deserted place and raped her under the cover of darkness before fleeing the scene.

Soon after the incident, she reported the matter to her parents who registered the case with the police. The police have arrested both the accused persons—the witch doctor as well as the rapist.
