Bhubaneswar/UNI: The 12074 Bhubaneswar-Howrah Jan Shatabdi Express was detained for 45 minutes at Cuttack station on Thursday due to the non-release of the brake from the wheel.

The Express train was detained at Cuttack station from 0630 hours to 0715 hours and left for its destination after releasing the brake from the wheel.

The East Coast Railway (ECoR) authorities denied reports of any fire in the coach of the Bhubaneswar-Howaraha Jana Shatabdi Express.

It said that due to brake binding, the train was detained at the Cuttack station, and the cause of the non-release of the brake is being investigated.
