Bharatiya Janata Party welcomes scrapping of J&K bank recruitment process

| @indiablooms | Mar 01, 2020, at 07:57 pm

Srinagar/UNI: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday welcomed the scrapping of J&K Bank recruitment process, alleging that blue-eyed candidates were being preferred over deserving candidates.

''BJP welcomed the decision of Governor-led administration for scrapping the recruitment of 250 probationary officers (POs) and 1,200 banking associates in JK Bank'', a BJP spokesperson said.

''The blue eyed aspirants and relatives of influential politicians were being promoted to higher positions and common people were deprived of such facilities and approaches,'' he said.

He urged authorities to complete the recruitment process on a fast-track basis within few months, so that youth would not suffer. ''The central and J&K UT government should create more job opportunities for youth in Kashmir and opined for establishment of more industrial estates and other avenues'', he said.

''Uncertainty was prevailing everywhere with nobody accountable or answerable to anyone'', he said adding that entire recruitment process of J&K Bank Probationary officers and Banking Associates was suspicious.

He said fresh recruitment process would be transparent and without any delay, thus enabling deserving ones to find jobs fairly.

''Previous government regimes has exploited the youth of Kashmir from past seven decades but now there is ray of hope from the central government for creating more job opportunities in both private and government sector,'' he alleged.
