Bengal wants asol poriborton: BJP candidate from Behala Purba seat Paayel Sarkar tweets
Kolkata: Actress Paayel Sarkar, who will fight the West Bengal Assembly polls for Bharatiya Janata Party from politically crucial Behala Purba seat, said the state wants to see ‘Asol Poriborton’ (real change).

Behala Purba is a politically important seat.
In 2016, the seat was won by former TMC leader and ex-Kolkata Mayor Sovan Chatterjee. He is now a member of the BJP.
The ruling TMC has fielded Sovan Chatterjee's estranged wife Ratna Chatterjee.
Paayel joined the BJP recently.
She was worked in movies like 'I Love You', 'Cross Connection', 'Le Chakka', among others.
The Bharatiya Janata Party on Sunday announced another round of candidates for the West Bengal Assembly polls.
This time the party named 27 candidates who will fight the polls.
Union Minister and BJP leader Babul Supriyo will fight the high-octane political battle from Tollygunj.
The party fielded its sitting MP and actor-turned-politician Locket Chatterjee from Chuchura seat.
The BJP fielded former TMC leader Rajib Banerjee from Domjur. He recently joined the BJP.
Rabindranath Bhattacharya has been fielded from Singur seat while Swapan Dasgupta will contest the poll from Tarakeswar.
Actress Tanushree Chakraborty will fight from Howrah Shyampur.
