Kolkata, Aug 24 (IBNS): With the wholesale and retail price of onions rocketing sky high, West Bengal government has decided to sell the daily necessity at a fair price, through its outlets, an official statement confirmed on Monday.

The State Horticulture Department has decided to sell onions through its fair price outlets and mobile vans at different markets of the city.

Soon, onions at fair price will be made available in the district markets.

The State Minister for Horticulture said that onions will be made available at a price which will be at least Rs 10-15 less than the market price.
