| @indiablooms | Dec 19, 2017, at 03:42 pm

Srinagar, Dec 19 (IBNS): At least two militants have been killed in an encounter between militants and security forces in Batmuran village of south Kashmir's Shopian district on Monday night.

Jammu and Kashmir Police Chief SP Vaid confirmed the news.

"Exchange of fire going on in Shopian District of south Kashmir between terrorists and Police/Security Forces. Wishing boys the very best!" he had tweeted on Monday night.

An ensuing tweet earlier this morning read, "Bodies of two terrorists recovered so far."

Government Forces believe that one more militant is present in the village.

All the exit and entry points have been sealed while intermittent firing is going on.
