At least five school children killed as bus fall into canal in Amritsar
Jalandhar, Sept 20 (IBNS) : Five children died after a school bus fell into a canal near Amritsar in Punjab on Tuesday, reports said.
The incident happened at Muhawa village.
According to reports, the driver of the bus, carrying 50 children, mostly from kindergarten, lost control of the vehicle.
The bodies of five children have been found so far. Ten children have been taken to a hospital in Amritsar.
A search is on for the other children. .
