Assam: Two killed, six injured in road mishap

Guwahati, May 29 (IBNS) : At least two people were killed and six others were injured in a road mishap in Assam's Kamrup (Metro) district on Friday, officials said.

The incident took place on NH-37 near Basfar area of Khetri, outskirts of Guwahati when a speedy vehicle hit three roadside autorickshaw.

Two persons, including a woman, were killed on spot and six others were injured in the mishap.

The deceased persons were identified as Khagen Terang and Saraswati Deka.

The injured persons were rushed to Guwahati Medical College hospital.
