Assam: Two arms smugglers nabbed with weapons in Karimganj

Guwahati/IBNS: Police and Border Security Force (BSF) in a joint operation have seized four 7.65 mm pistols along with magazines and a pen pistol and nabbed two arms smugglers in Assam’s Karimganj district.

Acting on a specific input of the intelligence input, BSF troops and Karimganj district police launched an operation at Badarpur station road area Monday and nabbed two arms smugglers and seized the arms in possession from them.

Later, the nabbed persons and seized arms were handed over to Badarpur police station for further legal action.
