Assam Secretariat improves E-pass system

Guwahati, Sept 28 (IBNS): The Assam Secretariat has decided to make certain improvements in the e-pass system for visitors with effect from Oct 1.

In place of paper slip, entry pass will be issued through SMS.

Visitors must display their valid ID Cards/ ID Proofs (Voter ID/Pan Card/Passport) etc, along with sms at the time of entry in the Assam Secretariat Complex.

The exit code given to the visitors should be entered in the e-pass counter at the time of exit from Assam Secretariat.

If any visitors fail to register their exit code in counter, then he may not be issued the entry pass next time.
