Assam: Police recover two IEDs from Guwahati

Guwahati/IBNS: Police on Wednesday recovered two IEDs from Pan Bazar and Paltan Bazar area in Guwahati city of Assam.

The investigation is still being carried on.

Police recovered the IEDs on the basis of confessional statements made by a ULFA-I militant who was arrested from Tinsukia district on Wednesday.

Munna Prasad Gupta, Commissioner of Police, Guwahati confirmed that two IEDs were recovered from Pan Bazar and Paltan Bazar area.
