Assam police arrests three officials in connection with ADO recruitment scam

Guwahati, Sept 20 (IBNS): Police on Thursday arrested three Assam government officials in connection with Agriculture Development Officer (ADO) recruitment scam under Assam Public Service Commission (APSC).

According to the reports, police arrested government officials Vikash Kumar Pincha, Kaushik Kalita, Kunal Das from the central jail in Guwahati after a local court in the capital city of Assam gave permission to arrest the trio in the ADO recruitment scam.

A top police official said that, police arrested the trio in the case number 159/2017 following directive by the court.

Earlier, Dibrugarh police arrested the trio in connection with the APSC cash-for-job scam with the Dibrugarh PS case number 936/2016.

On the other hand, the court directed the Assam police to produce them before the court on Sept 24.
