Assam cop killings: MHA seeks report

New Delhi, June 6 (IBNS) The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Friday sought a report from the Assam government in connection with the killing of a senior police officer and another cop by terrorists in Karbi Anglong district.
Terrorists gunned down a Superintendent of Police (SP) and his Personal Security Officer (PSO) during an encounter in Karbi Anglong district of Assam on Friday morning, said reports.
 
Karbi Anglong SP Nityanad Goswami and his PSO lost their lives during an encounter with Karbi Peoples Liberation Tigers (KPLT) militants.
