Arun Jaitley meets farmers' delegation

New Delhi, June 10 (IBNS): Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Wednesday met a farmers’ delegation representing different stakeholders and organisations from across the country.

The delegation was led by Naresh Sirohi.

During the meeting, the delegation presented a memorandum to the minister covering various aspects and issues related to the Land Bill which had been arrived at after consulting more than 65 farmer organisations throughout the country.

Jaitley had earlier met another delegation of farmers on May 28 wherein more than 30 farmer organizations had participated.
