Arrival of Mallikarjun Kharge will offer new impetus to completion of ERCP: Rajasthan CM Gehlot

Jaipur/UNI: Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Monday said the arrival of Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge will give new strength to the state's resolve to complete the important East Rajasthan Canal Project (ERCP).

Gehlot said this Monday morning before Kharge reached Rajasthan on the occasion of the launch of the ERCP public awareness campaign of the state Congress.

He said, "A hearty welcome to Kharge in Rajasthan, the land of heroes. Your arrival will give new strength to our resolve to complete the ERCP."

He went on to say, "With the resolve to complete the ambitious Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project (ERCP), I will launch the ERCP Jan Jagran Abhiyan at Dol Mela Ground in Baran Monday."

Notably, the ERCP public awareness campaign of the state Congress will start in the afternoon at Dol Mela Ground in Baran for breaking the promise by not giving the status of the national project to ERCP.
