Army starts operation against terrorist infiltration in Kashmir
Srinagar, Jul 23 (IBNS) The Army has started operation along the India-Pakistan border in Kashmir following reports of infiltration bid by terrorists, media reports said.
The move comes days after three incidents of ceasefire violation and heavy firing by Pakistan's forces in Poonch, Keran and Kasba regions.
Infiltration attempts by terrorists increase during monsoons in Kashmir as they take advantage of fog that covers the entire area making it easier for them to sneak into the Indian territory.
