A top official of Dibrugarh police said that, police has collected vital evidence against over 100 government officers whose were appointed in 2015 and 2016 under APSC.

“None will be spared who involved in the scam,” the police official said.

Recently, the sleuths of Dibrugarh police had arrested three ACS offices namely Bhaskar Jyoti Sarma, Bhaskar Dutta and Amit Sarma in connection with the cash-for-job scam.

Earlier, police arrested former chairman of APSC Rakesh Paul and his two associate members Samedur Rahman, Basanta Doley and five other persons in connection with the APSC scam.

Meanwhile, a four-member team of Dibrugarh police had interrogated Rakesh Paul, Samedur Rahman, Basanta Doley and arrested three ACS officers at Guwahati central jail.

“During interrogation, the three ACS officers revealed several issues in APSC during Rakesh Paul regime as how jobs were sold,” the police official said.
